Situated in the Vancouver Island region in Gold River, British Columbia, this privately-owned property is a multi-use industrial site with water access and is currently not in use. Formerly a pulp and paper mill, this unique site is zoned for heavy industrial and waterfront (deep-water) industrial usage. The marine terminal property totals 236 acres (95.5 hectares) with 120 acres (48.6 hectares) available for third-party use. In addition, there is 100 acres (40.5 hectares) of undeveloped property, with 250,000 ft2 (23,226 m2) of buildings available. This prime waterfront parcel is 50 miles (80 kilometers) from the Campbell River airport and is available for sale or lease. The 138kV transmission line previously servicing the mill is disconnected, but has not been decommissioned. Further study is required to determine steps required to place the line back into service.
